k-ssul (from 썰 — pronounced sseol, meaning "story" or "tale") is a collection of Korean internet stories translated into English. Everyday stuff: family drama, workplace horror, dating weirdness, scary stories, heartwarming moments.
The difference between us and a translation tool: we explain the things that don't translate. What 시어머니 actually means. Why someone saying "did you eat?" is romantic. What a 회식 is and why it ruins Monday mornings. Our translations try to keep the internet-voice alive instead of flattening everything into formal English.
These are real stories curated from real Korean internet communities. We credit the original author whenever possible and link back to the source. We don't claim authorship over the source content — we just translate and annotate.
