my high school debate tutor had the most unhinged confession ever

so back in freshman year there was this college guy tutoring us debate right. absolute WALL of a man, like zero personal conversation with any of us, just all business.

we're at this debate tournament and he's coaching us through some strategy when my phone rings. i answer it and i guess i made eye contact with him for like two seconds and this man STOPS MID-SENTENCE and goes.

"when you look at me like that i literally forget what i'm saying. is this... love?"

AND HE SAID IT SO PERFECTLY. like word for word the exact tone and everything LMAOOOOO i'm not even exaggerating i will never forget that moment for the rest of my life. i was so flustered
