I tried to slip my number to a hot guy at a study cafe and got trapped by a barcode

So my old reading room closed down. Like a 50-year-old place, absolute institution. And I had to go to one of those automated study cafes for the first time and honestly I was LOST. It was so high-tech I didn't even know how to get in lmao.

I somehow managed to print out a paper ticket but then I'm just. Standing at the door. No clue what to do with it. And there's a guy waiting behind me ㅠㅠ I was like okay fine, you go first and I step aside. This guy just scans his barcode like it's nothing, walks in all smooth, and goes "it's here" while literally teaching me without even breaking a sweat. And THEN. He's tall. He's handsome. I was lowkey blushing LMAOOO.

Dude was actually studying too, brought his major textbooks and everything, no bullshitting around. So when I'm leaving I'm thinking okay. This is my moment. I'm gonna write my number on the back of my ticket, thank him for the help, and dip out all mysterious and cool. Nope. NOPE. Turns out you need the same ticket to leave the building.

I'm standing there absolutely mortified trying to figure out how to hand him my number without looking insane and I just... can't leave. I'm stuck. And then HE looks at what I wrote, reads it, and just SMILES at me while making eye contact ㅠㅠㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

We ended up leaving together (his place is like 20 mins away). Started talking, exchanged numbers, and now we're dating lol. The barcode incident was the best accidental wingman move I never planned.
