He gave me warm milk every day for 3 years. Today we're getting married.

So I started high school and my first desk buddy was on the sports team. Dude literally skipped class to train from lunch onwards. One day after night study ends he just hands me warm milk. I was actually terrified of him btw. He was HUGE and dark-skinned and I genuinely thought he was scary. So I couldn't say anything, just took it. He's like "drink it. one shot." and I literally chugged the whole thing without thinking LMAOOO.

This happens every single day until the end of freshman year. People start calling me "milk girl" at school which is so embarrassing. Sophomore year I transfer to a different class and I'm like okay finally free from the milk thing. Nope. He walks into my new classroom and brings me warm milk anyway.

Then my dad gets transferred to an overseas branch so I have to leave school. Last day he hands me a note. You know what the note says? How to heat up milk. LMAOOOOO I'm just sitting there thinking what is this man's obsession with milk like did milk hurt him or something. I just move on.

Fast forward to college break and I'm in Europe. I see him out of NOWHERE. Soon as I laid eyes on him I was like oh shit. It hits different seeing someone from home when you're abroad. We grab dinner that night and OF COURSE he shows up with warm milk again.

So I ask him straight up why is he always giving me milk. And he says "you have insomnia right." I'm like what are you talking about. Turns out when we were in freshman year during that intro thing where you write about yourself, I mentioned I had insomnia. And this man. This absolute man. He REMEMBERED. And he's been giving me warm milk this whole time because he was worried I couldn't sleep well. Now he's like "you good? sleeping okay now? I was worried you'd have trouble sleeping abroad."

I literally started crying right there. Absolutely melting. Chest-pounding moment. No cap.

We're getting married in April.
