So I have this junior (younger colleague) who's a film director, and he's spilled some tea on celebrities he's actually met or has connections to. I'm only covering people he's had direct contact with.

**Lee Yeon-hee** has an INSANELY strong personality. Like not in a small way. That's apparently why she never gets intimidated even when people dunk on her acting (which, yeah, was... rough for a while), and she just doesn't take damage. She literally said in an interview during peak hate-era that hate comments go in one ear and out the other. And there's a famous drinking party story: someone at the table straight up tells her "hey people are saying your acting is terrible" and Lee Yeon-hee just immediately claps back with "go f*** yourself." Like. No hesitation. The person who started it was rude first obviously, but the way she fired back instantly?? Her personality is something else. Also apparently she was a school bully (illjin) in middle school.

**The actress who's currently having an affair with director Hong Sang-soo** (this was before they got together btw). Apparently at drinking parties she was laying on the charm and flirtation so HARD with all the directors that people were like... she acts like she's on drugs or something. The way she was performing cuteness and seductiveness was like an art form. Just absolutely feral levels of it.

**Han Ye-seul** is apparently surprisingly sweet. Contrary to her image.

**Lee Min-woo** (from Shinhwa) is apparently full of charisma and charm even in private settings.

Extra tidbit: **G-Dragon** apparently got so much love and attention from older girls/women since he was a trainee that at drinking parties he's actually pretty quiet and doesn't put on a show. People find that surprising.

**Kim Jung-min** is apparently SO stunningly beautiful in person that you could literally collapse. The saying that "TV is a fool's box" (meaning TV can't capture real beauty) apparently came from seeing Kim Jung-min, because TV captures not even a quarter of how she actually looks. You can tell she's had surgery, but she's still gorgeous enough to make you pass out apparently.

**Clara** has an energetic, bubbly personality. Not rude. That's the word.

**4Minute's Nam Ji-hyun** has a decent personality apparently.

And the **이ㄱ광 x HyunA rumor** (he's being coy about the name but people said to just Google it)... that's apparently 100% real. It's something that all the backup dancers in the K-pop industry openly know about. Like not even a secret at that point.

**Lee Hyori** has a strong personality, obviously. There's a story where backup dancers were talking amongst themselves while she wasn't there, and they kept referring to her just as "Lee Hyori~" without any honorific or title after her name because she's so famous it felt natural. Lee Hyori overhead this and got really offended and said something about it. Backup dancers also say that because she has a large chest she tends to dance with her shoulders slightly hunched, but she picks up choreography really fast.

**Lee Min-woo and Junjin** are both good dancers, but apparently among backup dancers their dance styles are a little divisive. Love it or hate it kind of thing.

**Choi Ja's ex-girlfriend.** People were saying her older brother was a little... slow? (that's what was going around)

**Kim Dong-wan** is someone everyone who's met him says is genuinely kind. Good character, apparently.

Same goes for actor **Lee Beom-soo**. Also said to be a good person.

**Rain** grew up really poor and apparently in his early debut days he had a noticeable obsession with money. Don't know what he's like now, but at debut he was definitely sensitive about money.

**Se7en's ex-girlfriend, who is now Yoo In-seok's wife (Park Han-byul)**: she reportedly bought her way into Anyang Arts High School. At the time, the law was structured so you couldn't be severely punished if the bribe to the teacher was under a certain amount (a few million won, i.e. a few thousand dollars), and her parents paid the teacher EXACTLY under that legal threshold so the punishment was basically a slap on the wrist. Still. She paid. OP thinks it was 3 million or 2 million won (~$1,500-$2,300).

**Taeyeon and Baekhyun** when they were together: apparently it was the living embodiment of those k-pop lyrics about "a woman who can't let go and a man who can't walk away." Taeyeon's attachment/clinginess was on another level according to people in the know.

**Wonder Girls' Yeeun**: the audition show where they were supposedly finding the fifth Wonder Girls member? All staged. Fixed from the start. Yeeun was already picked as the new member and the whole "find the 5th member" show was just a PR stunt to promote the group. It was never a real competition.

**G-Dragon** reportedly spent his trainee days studying songwriting by copying and adapting various pop songs (essentially plagiarism-as-practice). But apparently he's always been incredibly perceptive and quick to read situations, so Yang Hyun-suk (the CEO, "Yang sajang") favored him even as a trainee. Like, social/situational awareness at level 100.

**Suzy** is said to be EXTREMELY kind. To her manager especially. Like goes above and beyond in how she treats them.

**Min Sun-ye** was apparently sweet during her trainee days.

Extra: **Taeyeon** was also kind as a trainee, but she had some trainee pride going on. Though OP notes all of this is trainee-era info so who knows what they're like now.

**Kang Ji-young's older sister** was apparently THE notorious bully queen of Paju. Kang Ji-young herself was basically nothing compared to her sister. So apparently the real Paju Queen was never Kang Ji-young, it was her unnie all along.

**Jung Yong-hwa** apparently hung out with the bully crowd at Namsan High School. But since he was already a trainee at the time, he reportedly didn't actually bully or mess with anyone.

**Jaurim's Kim Yoon-ah** was apparently already insanely charismatic and high-energy back at Gyeonggi Girls' High School. Would grab a spoon and just... perform. Every single day. Wild confidence. Not a bad person, just someone who was SO full of performer energy that she was basically the class entertainer at every school trip and camp.

**The late Lee Eun-ju** was apparently so beautiful even when she was at Gunsan Girls' High School that she was basically famous throughout the whole school. Students would crowd the hallways just to catch a glimpse of her walking by.

**ㅇㅇㅅ** (initials only): when she was appearing on a show under the name "Ohhaetnim," she was apparently dating a guy one year below her at the same high school. OP claims to personally know that guy so this is supposedly confirmed. The guy was really good-looking, pretty-boy type. And when he tried to break up with her, she clung to him desperately.
