my desk buddy just casually offered to change his name for me and I'm unhinged

So yesterday I was doing one of those name compatibility things with my desk buddy (you know, the ones that give you a percentage match) and we got like 6%. I was lowkey embarrassed so I joked like "lol guess we can't get married" as a bit.

And this man. This man just sits there with his chin in his hand, *smirks*, and goes "I'll change my name then."

I'm still not over it. The confidence. The audacity. The way he said it so casually like changing his entire identity was just... on the table. I can't.
