My boyfriend fought with me but still quietly kept me safe 😭

A 2015 forum post about a couple mid-fight on the walk home from school. They were already annoyed at each other, started bickering over something dumb, and escalated into a full-on serious argument while walking.

Then a car came up from behind. The boyfriend — who was ACTIVELY yelling at her — instinctively pulled her to the inside of the sidewalk (away from traffic) and swapped places with her to shield her... all while still going off on her lmaooo.

OP says that moment made her heart flutter so bad. 'I was a little swooned back then hehe..' lol girl same.
