She suffered the whole semester, he confessed anyway β now they're dating π

A girl posts about a guy she liked for almost two full semesters. She secretly had feelings for him but held back because 'I once drank kimchi soup in front of him super aggressively' (a Korean thing β seen as unladylike) and was too embarrassed to make a move. Meanwhile, all her friends kept telling her he liked her too, but she just... suffered in silence.
On the last day before spring break, she thought it was her final chance to see him. He kept teasing and flirting with her all day while she desperately tried to keep it together. After the closing ceremony she's cleaning up her half of the classroom (class rep duties), ready to just go home with her dignity intact β when he's WAITING for her in the hallway. He flashes a big grin and goes: 'Why'd you come out so late?' Then drops the bomb: 'Hey. I like you. I've liked you since first semester. You didn't know?'
She ends the post with: 'So now we're dating and it's been great. Honestly it hasn't been that long but I like him so much πππ' The whole thing is equal parts wholesome and painful β she tortured herself for a whole year over kimchi soup.
