At a porridge restaurant the poster frequents, they serve beet juice after meals. Just as the poster was finishing up, one staff member quietly told another: 'Give them the beet.'

That's apparently the secret signal that a table is wrapping up and it's time to bring the after-meal drink. Wholesome little glimpse into restaurant floor communication lol.
