He smelled another man's cologne on me and confessed on the spot

So I had some time before meeting up with this guy friend I've known forever, right? Hit up Olive Young to grab my older brother a cologne for his birthday. I'm testing the mens fragrances on my hand, pay, and leave. Meet up with my friend and suddenly this dude who NEVER does physical contact is like... wrapping his arm around my shoulder and leaning into me hard (we have a height difference lmao). He's doing that thing where his voice gets all soft and he's like right next to my ear going "who is that..."

I'm confused as hell so I'm like "huh? what?" and he literally straightens up, bends down to look me dead in the eye, and goes "you smell like a man and it pisses me off." Just. Stares at me. Says nothing else. Just eye contact.

I'm freaking out internally so I'm laughing like "why are you acting crazy lol" and he hugs me and goes "your smell is better. date me instead of that guy." AND WE'VE BEEN TOGETHER FOR 2 YEARS NOW.

Later on I told him it was just my brother's cologne I was testing and bro turned RED. Like full embarrassment mode. KEKEKE he was so shy about it.
