watched a couple break up at a cafe and then... it got fixed with bread

so I'm at this cafe right and there's a couple sitting near me. the girl is FURIOUS. like genuinely, unhinged levels of angry at this guy and I'm sitting there about to lose it just listening to her go off about absolute nonsense.

and this man? he's just... taking it. absorbing all of it like a saint. I'm literally thinking I'm about to witness a relationship END in real time. this is IT. this is the moment.

then he gets up and leaves.

I'm like okay here we go, that's the final scene, I've watched them break up.

BUT THEN. he comes back. walks back in holding what looks like some kind of honey bread thing.

and he just... feeds it to her. while she's still mid-rant.

and he says it SO calm: "if you're hungry, just say you're hungry."

and the GIRL. she gets all shy and quiet and in this tiny little voice she's like "...i didn't know i was hungry i guess..."

I'M SCREAMING. the way I just watched a entire relationship drama get solved by BREAD. a SNACK. she was HANGRY the whole time.
