I wasn't going to post this but it's been eating at me.
So a few years back I was working at an IT company in Jeongja-dong, Bundang. Living in an officetel nearby, had my own car, usually parked in the company basement. Normal stuff. But one night I stayed late and had to use the public parking building down the road.
There's this old parking structure in Jeongja-dong that nobody really talks about. Six floors. And the 5th floor? Completely sealed off. Elevator straight up skips it. I asked the building manager why and he just shook his head.
"Floor 5... just don't use it. That's all."
Okay sir. Super helpful.
That night I was taking the stairs and I found the door to the 5th floor. Rusty metal door. Little paper sign taped to it that just said "BROKEN." But the door was cracked open.
And look. I know. I KNOW. But I pushed it open anyway.
No wind anywhere but the door creaked open on its own. That specific horror movie creak. Inside was just... dark. Empty parking spaces as far as I could see. I turned on my phone flashlight and pointed it in.
Something was standing there.
A silhouette. Person-shaped. Completely black. Not moving at all.
I froze. Started backing up. And then my phone slipped out of my hand, screen went dark, and when I turned it back on the display was just... static. Noise everywhere.
I ran. Full sprint down to the 4th floor and didn't stop.
Told a coworker about it a few days later. He went completely still.
"Wait. You actually went into the 5th floor of that building?"
Yeah.
"Five years ago someone went missing there. Last place they showed up on CCTV was the 5th floor. They never found them."
And then he said. He said.
"After that... the 5th floor CCTV still picks up weird shadows sometimes."
I never went back. Done. Never again.
Except then one night I was checking my dashcam footage from the drive home after a late shift. Cruising through an alley in Jeongja-dong and there's just... audio. Recorded over the sound of my engine.
"I'm still here... come with me... to the 5th floor..."
I'm not going back to Jeongja-dong.
