I wasn't going to post this but... okay.
Deep in the forest outside a quiet rural village, there's a cabin that doesn't show up on any map. Zoom in all you want. It's not there.
The locals call it the Death House.
Reason is simple. No one who walks in ever walks back out.
First incident: winter 1987. Five college students from Seoul heard about it as some kind of "secret hidden gem" and decided to check it out. Classic. They disappeared. Police, search and rescue, everyone went looking. No footprints near the cabin. No animal tracks either. Nothing.
Except.
Scratched into the inner wall. Like someone did it with their fingernails.
"Don't go back. This place isn't for us. It's for them."
For ten years after that the cabin just... faded from memory. People stopped talking about it.
Then a TV writer named Eun-ju, who grew up in that village, decided to investigate it for an internet horror content series. She went out there with a cameraman and a PD. Three people total.
The audio recording from that night still exists.
[Excerpts from Eun-ju's voice log]
"6:45 PM. The sun is completely down. Can barely see anything in front of me. The inside of the cabin is... cleaner than I expected. Like someone swept it recently. But the weird part. The calendar on the wall is stopped on December 14, 1987. The exact day the students disappeared."
"Something is off. We thought there were three of us but... I keep hearing four sets of footsteps behind me. The PD was right behind me a second ago but somehow he's already inside the cabin ahead of me. How does that happen."
"There's... someone standing outside the window. White face. No eyes. Just standing there. Looking at us. The camera stopped working. Power's on but the screen turned... like black and white. Everything is wrong."
The recording cuts off at 1 minute 36 seconds.
Eun-ju and her team went completely dark after that. Five days later, someone found a single camcorder near the village entrance.
The footage on it showed... things. Not people. Moving in circles around the cabin.
And there's a shot of four figures leaving the cabin. Not three. FOUR.
One of them doesn't have a face.
Village people still won't go anywhere near that cabin.
"That house isn't waiting for people to visit," someone said. "There's just... no road back out."
Some say the cabin collects lost souls.
Keeps them.
