horror story: the transfer student with locker number 000

okay I wasn't going to post this but.

I'm a social studies teacher at a middle school in Gyeonggi Province. Fall 2023. Midterms coming up, everyone stressed, totally normal week.

Then the disciplinary office sends down this weird request.

"3rd year, class 5. New transfer student. Name: Seo Isu."

Fine. Normal. Except the locker number they assigned her.

000.

Our school lockers start at 101. They go up from there, floor by floor. There is NO locker 000. It does not exist. So I called the admin office and the lady goes,

"...we never assigned that number? She's not even in the transfer records."

That afternoon I went to class 3-5 to check things out. Kids were quiet. And there in the back, sitting alone. A girl I didn't recognize. Long hair. Pale. Didn't say a word to anyone.

I walked over. Kept it casual.

"Hey, transfer student. What's your name?"

She didn't turn her head. Just answered.

"Seo Isu."

And then things started getting weird.

At the end of the hallway, the unused locker section, people kept hearing this sound. Metal clicking. Like something opening. During evening study hall, multiple students said they could hear whispering coming FROM INSIDE the lockers.

"Isu... let me out now..."

The CCTV caught a shadow moving toward the lockers late at night. Nobody was in that hallway. Nobody.

A few days later one of the kids from class 3-5 went missing. Last place anyone saw her: the locker hallway. And when they opened locker 000, there was a notebook inside.

The kid's name was written on the cover.

I went back to the classroom. Seo Isu's seat was empty. Nothing on the desk. I checked the attendance book. Her name was gone. Admin office had zero records of a transfer student.

Like she was never there.

That night I started having the same dream over and over. A locker opening slowly. Someone inside, crouched down, crawling out. Coming toward me.

Whispering.

"You're next, teacher."
