i tutor this kid in english and shes absolutely unhinged

so like im tutoring this girl in english right. shes actually smart, shes cute, shes polite, learns fast, everything checks out. but then at some point she just starts staring at me like a zombie?? and shes asking me about super basic sentences over and over again like she doesn't already know them LMAOOO

and every time im like "wait you don't know this?" but like... i KNOW shes pretending. shes so obvious about it but honestly its endearing as hell so ive just been playing along and acting like shes genuinely confused

BUT THEN YESTERDAY she asks me to translate "I love you" for her. and i mean. i can literally see through her. its written all over her face. but also shes SO CUTE about it that when i explained it to her while looking her in the eye i literally said it like "that means you love someone." or whatever and her FACE turned bright red and she started doing that little smile thing where the corner of your mouth just twitches?? I'M CRYING SHES THE CUTEST THING IVE EVER SEEN
