Okay so this is being called a legend post and honestly after reading it. yeah.

So OP was adopted. And their birth mom reached out.

The comments are just. people sharing their own experiences and it's a whole lot of sad + mad all at once. Like the vibe is not wholesome reunion story, it's more like... complicated. messy. the kind of feelings you can't really put into words but everyone in the comments KNOWS.

OP didn't post a wall of text, just dropped the situation and let people respond. and respond they did.

"Sad and pissed off" is literally how someone summed up the comment section. which. yeah. that tracks.
