My brother married rich and now his wife is losing it over casual dinners

So this is about my older brother.

Our family got absolutely demolished by our parents' business failing when we were kids. Like, genuinely poor. Soon as we turned 20 we had to pick up part-time jobs for spending money, take out student loans, the whole thing. We worked hard but we're still broke and drowning in debt.

My brother grinding away, eventually started his own business. Met his now-wife at some social thing and... yeah. Her family is LOADED.

So at the first meeting with her parents we all pile into this beat-up Sonata (like, everyone in one car), and her family rolls up with MULTIPLE CARS. The cheapest one? A Genesis. LMAO. We're not even in the same universe financially but honestly we were just grateful she married him anyway.

But then after the wedding everything got weird.

Our parents like to eat at these casual spots, right? Chinese place, cafeteria-style restaurants, Korean BBQ joints. His wife came along a few times at first but you could tell it was killing her. Like she'd literally flinch if someone raised their voice a little bit at the table.
