I worked the night shift at Seoul Station. Locker 24 should not have been open.

I wasn't going to post this but I genuinely need someone to tell me I'm not losing it.

So I used to work as a late-night janitor at Seoul Station. The place never really sleeps, there's always SOMEONE walking through, but there's one spot that's dead quiet. The old luggage locker area on basement level 2.

It's creepy down there. Like, metallic old smell mixed with this musty thing you can't place. Nobody goes down there at night except staff.

I hadn't been working there long when the other guys started telling me the story.

Apparently years ago they found a young woman dead in the locker area. Official ruling was suffocation, she'd climbed into a locker and couldn't get out. But the rumor was murder. Her last text to her friend said *"someone weird is following me. i hid in a locker. i think the door's about to close."*

And after that, people said you could hear her voice at night in the locker hallway.

I didn't believe any of it. Obviously.

Until that night.

I was doing my rounds alone, cleaning the locker area like normal, when I heard this *rattle* from the very end of the row. Locker 24. And these lockers are supposed to be empty. All of them.

I thought maybe a homeless guy had snuck in so I walked over careful.

Locker 24 was covered in dust. Like, untouched dust. But the rattling kept going. I shined my flashlight on the door and that's when I saw it.

Scratched into the metal, tiny. *"save me."*

My whole body went cold. Was someone LOCKED IN THERE?

I tried the door. Jammed shut. So I turned around to go get the key from the security office and right as I turned

*"please don't leave yet..."*

Right behind me. I spun around. Nobody.

Then again. *"please don't go. I need someone to come with me."*

I booked it. Full sprint to the security office. I told the guard about locker 24 and his face just. dropped.

"You shouldn't open that one," he said. "That locker... there is no key."

I was like what do you mean no key??

He goes, "A woman died in that locker years ago. After she died, the door started closing on its own. They say her spirit tries to pull other people in with her. Everyone who heard her whispering walked into the locker like they were hypnotized and never came out. So management WELDED IT SHUT."

I was shaking. Because the locker I just tried to open? No weld marks. Nothing. Just a normal door.

I told him that and he looked at me so weird. He said "I checked last night. It was welded. I'm sure of it."

And then my phone buzzed.

Unknown number. I opened it.

*"the door is open. go inside now."*

I dropped my phone and screamed. When I picked it back up the text was gone. Just. gone. I ran out of the station and didn't look back.

Next day I'm doom scrolling and I see this news piece about the old closed-off section of Seoul Station. Shut down after a huge fire in the 80s. A lot of people died. Some of them suffocated trapped in the basement locker area.

And in one of the old fire photos? Locker 24. Burned black.

Welded shut. Clear as day.

So what did I see that night? Was it a hallucination? Was it a locker from somewhere else bleeding through? I still don't know.

And sometimes, right before dawn, I swear I can hear something outside my bedroom window. Real faint.

*"take me with you..."*

Enjoyed this? Tap the heart.
