My coworker's 4yo son can see the dead. It's not stopping.

I wasn't going to post this but this is actually happening to someone I work with right now, not some old story.

She's a single mom. Just her and her 4-year-old son in their apartment. And apparently her kid is one of those kids. You know. The ones who *see* things.

So one night he just. Casually walks up to her and goes, "Mom, an old grandpa and an uncle I don't know came to visit."

She's like okay. Okay. Who are they, baby. Describe them.

"The grandpa is just standing there looking at me sadly. The uncle... he doesn't have eyes or hands."

HE DOESN'T HAVE EYES OR HANDS.

She panicked. Obviously. First thing the next morning she grabs her son, drives straight to the family burial grounds, and visits the ancestral graves she hadn't been to in way too long. She's internally apologizing the whole time, asking for forgiveness for neglecting the visits, begging their ancestors to please watch over them.

And right then, mid-prayer, her son goes "oh. they're gone now."

She immediately knew the grandpa figure was her late grandfather. That part made sense. But the guy with no eyes and no hands?? Zero idea who that was. Which is exactly why she assumed it was something dangerous and not family, and went full desperate ancestor-summoning mode.

Here's the thing though. This wasn't a one-time thing.

Her son still reports visitors sometimes. Just casually. Like it's normal. Because to him it IS normal.

Apparently she had the same ability as a kid but it faded as she got older. Looks like her son inherited it.

She told me she wakes up every single day now with that cold dread sitting in her chest, just waiting to hear what he saw overnight...
