neighbor's older brother thought I was dying, showed up like a man possessed

So the neighbor's older brother exists and I literally fell for him the DAY we moved in. Three years. Three YEARS of me being completely obsessed with this guy. ㅠㅠㅠ

But he treats me like his little sister. Like he's VERY intentionally putting up this wall that says 'I will not see you as a woman' and honestly it destroys me every time.

So one day I just... broke. Like full emotional collapse in my apartment, crying so loud it's insane. And I'm telling you our building's soundproofing is GARBAGE.

Suddenly someone starts SLAMMING on my doorbell. Like unhinged possessed behavior. Screaming 'HEY!! HEY HEY!! WHY ARE YOU LIKE THIS!!!!' while literally POUNDING on my door. *Boom. Boom.* I'm frozen. I wipe my face and open the door and this man YANKS me out into the hallway like—

'No wait, I'm—' (trying to explain I'm fine)

And he's just laughing at himself going 'No seriously... haha... it's okay, it's okay' while CRACKING UP at his own ridiculousness. I'm too shocked to even speak. Honestly part of me didn't want to come out anyway.

But then he gets serious. 'Why are you crying ALONE like this?? You scared me SO BAD!!!!' And his voice gets all panicked and I start crying AGAIN (LMAOOO kill me) so he's like '...don't leave me alone. seriously. it's... it's okay' and just keeps hugging me while I'm standing there breaking down.

Eventually he calms me down, makes me some ramen, and we head to his place. My hands were SHAKING the whole time we ate. Like actually trembling.
