Okay this is going to sound cheesy but I need to get this out.
When I was little, my grandma passed away. She was buried at a small cemetery in the countryside.
The following year, I went to visit some relatives who lived nearby, during school break. We were driving past the entrance to the cemetery where grandma was resting.
My grandpa and I were sitting together in the backseat.
And he must've thought none of us were watching, because he leaned his face against the car window. Quietly. And he just... waved. So small, so still. Like he didn't want anyone to see.
He was waving at her.
That was the first time I ever understood what love actually is.
