Riot cop saw a woman with a stroller at 3am. It wasn't a stroller.

So my friend heard this from someone. Riot cops got deployed to some protest, right? They showed up early to set up a perimeter and ended up on watch duty. All night. Bored out of their minds.

So the senior guy tells everyone except the one on watch to sleep in the van, trade off every hour. Wake up, switch, sleep again. Classic. An hour goes by, dude gets woken up, tells the other guy "your turn, go sleep." The guy heads inside.

But the friend sleeping in the van wakes up randomly and realizes a CRAZY amount of time has passed. Like way longer than an hour. He goes out, gets pissed. "Yo why didn't you wake me up?" Tells the other guy to get in the van and sleep, he'll take watch.

So he's standing there around 3am. Across the street there's a crosswalk, bit foggy, and he sees this woman on the opposite sidewalk. She's just... pushing a stroller forward, pulling it back. Pushing forward, pulling back. Over and over.

It's 3am. Why the hell is she doing that? He keeps watching her. Even when the light turns green, she doesn't cross. Just keeps pushing and pulling the stroller.

Then another cop comes out to trade shifts with him. My friend asks, "Yo, what's that woman doing over there?" Points at the crosswalk. "There's a woman with a stroller..."

But when the other guy looks, there's nothing. Nothing at all.

My friend's like "did I imagine that?" But no way, he watched her for way too long. So he tries to remember exactly what she looked like, what she was doing...

And then it hits him.

It wasn't a stroller she was pushing and pulling.

It was a shopping cart.

And the building across the street that the cart originally came from?
