scary story: the woman in the elevator at Bupyeong Market Station

I wasn't going to post this but people keep asking so here goes.

Bupyeong Market Station, exit 3, Incheon. There's a glass elevator there. Fully transparent. You can see everything inside it.

In November 2023 I started doing late-night delivery work near that area. Commercial district, busy even at 2am, so I was out there constantly. And I kept passing that elevator.

The first time something felt wrong, it was deep winter. No rain, no fog. Clear night. I glanced toward exit 3 from a distance and the elevator was... moving. By itself.

Okay weird but fine. Then I noticed there was someone inside.

A woman in white. Long hair. Head hanging down.

I told myself it was just a random person, weird timing, whatever. But then later THAT SAME NIGHT, same time, same elevator. Same woman. And she was always going DOWN, never up. Every single time.

And right as the elevator reached the bottom, she would slowly raise her head.

The thing is. The elevator is completely see-through. You should be able to see her face clearly.

She didn't have one.

Just... blurred shadows where the eyes, nose, and mouth should've been. Like someone had smeared her face out.

I went to the station office the next day. Asked about exit 3's elevator.

"That one? It shuts down after midnight. Power saving."

I saw her at 2am.

A few days later I went back. Forced myself. The elevator was stopped, not moving. But on the floor there was a single shoe print. Women's shoe. Small size.

Then the lights inside the elevator turned on.

She was there.

Head came up slow.

Mouth stretched wide. like it was going to tear.

I ran.

Recently people on the Bupyeong local community boards have been posting: "don't take the elevator at exit 3. It moves on its own at night. And the woman inside... she follows you out."

So yeah. Don't take that elevator.
