my middle school desk mate knew I liked him the whole time and I'm still not over it

okay so in middle school I had this desk mate who was OBSESSED with soccer. Like he wouldn't eat lunch, just go play soccer every single day. So I felt bad right, so I started sneaking bread and milk from home and just leaving it in his locker or on his desk. Did this for like two months straight.

Then one day I'm sitting there absolutely DYING from period cramps (like I couldn't even move), just hunched over my desk completely miserable. And I look up and he's just... sitting at his desk. Not playing soccer. Just there. And I was lowkey happy about it but also I was in too much pain to even care so I just kept my head down.

Then I hear footsteps coming toward me and I'm like oh god he's leaving. But no. He's walking toward MY desk. Taps me on the shoulder like [hey, 000 wake up] so I lift my head and he just starts petting my head going [does it hurt a lot. you didn't eat] and I'm just like... uh... yeah.

Then he goes back to his bag, digs around, and comes back with bread, milk, AND TYLENOL and just sets it on my desk. Then he goes [this is so weird lmao. you do this for me every day and now I'm doing it for you. eat the bread and take the medicine. you gotta eat even when you're sick]

And I FROZE. Like full panic mode. Eyes wide open just staring at him. He smirks and goes [what, you didn't know? you're such an idiot LMAO]

I'm still not saying anything just confused as hell so he's like [you don't know this either huh. when you look at me your face is so obvious lmao] and my face is BURNING RED and I'm denying everything but he just laughs.

Then he hits me with [but you don't know how I look at you either right. everyone keeps telling me it's so obvious I like you. everyone knows except you. you really don't notice how I look at you]

And THAT'S when I actually lost it. Like genuine heart flutter moment. That boy is now a senior in high school preparing for the college exam and he's my boyfriend LMAOOO
