Okay so this is a foreign creepypasta but it wrecked me so I had to share.
Fall semester, freshman year of college. I spent a full day cleaning my room because my girlfriend R was coming over for the first time. Like, neither of us had ever been to the other's place before. So I was already nervous. Pathetically, embarrassingly nervous.
Doorbell rings. It's R. She immediately goes "wait why is your face SO red" and I wanted to disappear.
Anyway. She plops this big cardboard box on my table. It says "The Planetarium" on the side.
R: "it's a planetarium!! they were selling them outside the station, there was a huge line. I got the last one!"
She opens the box and pulls out this black sphere. Covered in tiny holes all over the surface. The idea is you put a light inside and the holes project dots that look like stars. Cute right.
I closed the one window in my room. Weather was garbage that day so it got DARK fast. R flipped the switch.
The room turned into a night sky. It was genuinely beautiful. We spent a while finding constellations we'd only heard about in class.
Okay. So around 2:30pm I start actually looking at the sphere itself and I realize. there's a power switch. but no cord. no battery compartment. nothing. I checked everywhere. Solar powered maybe? But no charging panel either. Just. nothing.
So I lean in to peek through one of the holes.
The hole was tiny so I had to press my face basically all the way against it to see inside and.
I [out loud]: "wait WHAT"
Inside was an endless field of tiny lights. And in the center, this massive glowing mass just... floating there. It looked like looking at actual space. Like a galaxy.
Then the center light started growing.
And my body felt like it dropped. Like that first hill on a roller coaster where your stomach goes "oh no." Except it didn't stop.
I wasn't falling down. I was falling INTO it. Toward the light.
The planetarium swallowed me. That's the only way I can describe it.
The speed kept building. I could feel air resistance. My lungs couldn't keep up. I was screaming.
And then I saw them. Other people. Burning. All around me, these figures just... on fire. Faces melted. Limbs gone. Shrieking. Some of them had lost the energy to scream and were just... making these low sounds.
I thought I was going to end up like them.
Then I heard R's voice. Calling my name. Somewhere in all of it.
I looked around but couldn't find her in the burning mass of people.
She screamed. one massive, AWFUL scream.
And then she was gone.
I snapped back to the situation and realized I was right at the edge of a black hole. That's where the other screams had been going. One by one. sucked in. silent.
Inside the hole was just darkness. I couldn't see anything.
I was getting pulled in faster. hotter. couldn't think. couldn't breathe. R's voice kept getting louder from somewhere and I didn't understand how because she just—
Right as I was about to go in, someone SLAPPED me across the face as hard as they could.
I fell sideways and hit my head on something.
Dark room. I thought I'd made it through the hole. but the falling feeling was gone. no heat. no air.
Just. floor.
Then the lights came on. Fluorescent ceiling light. My room. Definitely my room.
R was standing over me looking completely white.
R: "are you okay? I'm so sorry I hit you..."
She told me what happened from her side. I peeked into the sphere and started shaking violently and screaming. She called my name over and over, nothing. Tried to open the window, jammed. Light switch, wouldn't work. Called my phone, nothing.
Then I started getting physically hot to the touch.
So she panicked and just. slapped me.
The clock in my room said 3pm.
I went to open the window for air and.
It was dark outside.
The clock in the park across the street said 8pm.
Five hours. Gone.
That planetarium is still sitting in my closet.
