okay so I'm reading this and I feel so called out it's insane. the text goes:

"So that's why I called you here. We're probably all going to die. But right now, I don't know? Maybe not? Or maybe something else is going on. The thing I used to say to comfort you, does it not land anymore? Ah, I genuinely loved you. I also talked about all of this. That's why I'm really upset, Mia (from here on, Mia, who considers herself a reasonable person, breaks down crying for several minutes)"

the way MIA IS ME. she's me. I AM MIA.

like the "I genuinely loved you" followed immediately by "anyway that's why I'm upset" with ZERO transition?? bestie said emotions are for the weak and kept it moving. and then Mia just. crumbles. on the spot. in real time.
