Summer of 1998. I was 6 years old.
We went to visit my dad's side relatives out in Damyang, South Jeolla province for the summer. Just vibing, eating watermelon, chicken, grapes... honestly just eating nonstop the whole time lol.
Then at some point my cousin and uncle were like hey let's all go down to the reservoir.
It was SO HOT that day. Like genuinely brutal summer heat.
Okay heads up before I continue. The reservoir had a no-swimming sign. So obviously none of us were supposed to go in.
