Yeongdeungpo motel horror story... I'm still not okay

I wasn't going to post this but it's been sitting in my head so here we go.

So me and my gf checked into this motel in Yeongdeungpo. I was exhausted and just wanted the basic room, 50,000 won, nothing fancy. But the front desk guy kept pushing the 60k room on me. I said no, handed over the cash, and then he was like "since you paid cash I'll upgrade you for free... go to room 607."

Free upgrade. Sure. Fine.

We took the elevator to the 6th floor and room 607 was. the last room at the very end of the hallway. Right next to a storage closet. Inside it was actually really nice though, clean and well-furnished, so I didn't think much of it.

We showered, then sat down to watch a horror movie on the in-room PC. Indie something. Had decent ratings so we picked it.

My gf started dozing off pretty quickly. And here's the thing... I had secretly started smoking again and she didn't know. Perfect opportunity. I paused the movie and slipped out to smoke by the elevator.

Came back. Opened the door.

And the horror movie that I 100% paused was playing again. Except it was just looping the same ghost scene over and over. Like it was stuck. And the second I opened the door the jacket I'd hung up just... fell off the hook. No window open. Just the AC running.

I went to turn the PC off and that's when I noticed. The speakers were on. But there was no sound coming out. Just the video looping silently.

I was scared enough that I woke my gf up right then, didn't care about the cigarette smell anymore. She jolted awake and immediately said she wanted to leave. Like didn't even wait for an explanation, just started grabbing her stuff.

We got in the elevator and she goes, "you went out to smoke, didn't you."

I actually thought for a second... wait, was she faking being asleep? Did she set all this up to mess with me?? I was HOPING that was it.

It was not it.

She said: "I fell asleep but I could feel when you left. And right after you walked out, I heard a woman come in. She was laughing like crazy and just. walking around the room. I was conscious but I couldn't move at all. And when you came back in I heard a scream, but it wasn't coming from outside the room. It was coming from the corner. The corner of the room.

That's why I said we had to go. I think she's still in there."

We basically sprinted out of that elevator and onto the street. Spent the rest of the night at the McDonald's in front of Yeongdeungpo station.

Not a great memory lol :(((
