this guy only does origami for me and i'm actually unraveling

okay so there's this legitimately cool guy in our class who does origami and literally EVERY other kid is obsessed, they keep asking him to make stuff for them. but there's this insanely pretty girl who wants to be close to him so she follows him around during breaks begging him to make her things. and he just. ignores her. completely.

so one day the pretty girl asks me to come with her and i'm like sure whatever. we walk over and she's doing the whole thing, putting paper in his hands like "please~~ just one more time~~" and he just... looks at me. and hands ME the paper instead. i'm trying not to lose it.

later we're alone in the classroom and i'm like "yo why are you so good at that" and he gets SO EXCITED, he's like "oh i can do this too" and shows me all these other designs. then the pretty girl walks in like "wait YOU can do that too??" and i watch him look at her and then hand ME the paper again. and give me this smile.

then she tries the whole cutesy thing, "he must hate me :(((" while looking at him. he just. doesn't react. ignores her completely. but the second she leaves he comes back to me, takes the paper, finishes it, hands it to me with a smile and goes "if you want to learn i can teach you."

and like. i feel special. i genuinely feel like the chosen one right now. the way my heart just WENT for that.
