so i was doing my english homework right and i literally found this phrase that says 'Can I have a bit of sugar?' means 'Can I kiss you?' LMAOOO. like bestie who decided that. who woke up and said 'you know what, sugar = kiss, let's normalize this'. the way that's actually so smooth though ngl. i'm dead. my english teacher didn't put this in the textbook for a reason.
